The film itself I didn’t really get. Apparently young people today think it’s okay to make fun of supervillains. In my day we treated them with respect and fear, especially when they were singing. I did like the jokes, except when one man mentioned his secret love appendage to another, which I find crass. But the tunes are very hummable, and many of them ran through my head as I fell asleep before the ending, which I’ll bet was a humdinger. In fact, the whole movie humdinged. I give it forty eight billion stars.

5 Features I would like to see from Google

1. Print Individual Articles – Google Reader
I sometime print out stuff I want to keep. If it is really pertinent, I even put it in a folder for prosperity. In Google Reader I would like to be able to print one particular post from a rss feed by pusing one button. Print just this post/article. It would be nice if it could be formatted to the standard page output the printer us using (A4 or the US standard), but if not I will still live. But not nessicery. In each block you allready have; Add star, Share, Share with note, Email, Keep unread, Add tags. All these features are then sometime in addition to the posts own add features (commants, reddit, digg ect.).

2. Task manager intergrated into the Google documents, calendar
It just is a cornerstone of a good online office. We already have the mail, documents, calendar. But no task manager. Why?
I know about this one: http://tasklist.googlemashups.com/ but it is an island, remote and in no context with the other features Google is offering.

3. Chrome integrated with other tools Google

Now this is just silly. This is like when Windows Vista did not support Windows Live. It’s silly and should be fixed.

Another program that does not work on the Chrome not google related is the 1-Click Answer alt click feature. It runs on pretty much any program where I can type or read text but not in the Chrome… what gives?

4. Tabs in Documents
Like the spreadsheets have more than one page (sheets) in a document, so would I like a document where I could keep multiple sheets in a single file. I would like to be able to control each sheet in the file (what to print, what not to print, in what order to print, headers and footers for the file ect.)
Yes I think I would like that very much. Can I have it? Please?

Steampunk Star Wars

Hér eru nokkrir Steampunk Star Wars hlekkir sem ég hef fundið í gegnum tíðina. Steampunk Star Wars (SpSW) er fyrir mér sandkassi fyrir ímyndunaraflið að leika sér í. Með því að blanda saman þessum grunnstefum verður til afskaplega frumlegur og um margt magnaður heimur sem að er fáránlega erfitt að raungera í efni fyrir sjónvarp eða stóra tjaldið.

Steampunk í sjálfu sér er ákaflega vandmeðfarið í þeim miðlum. Myndir eins og The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Wild Wild West gengu klárlega ekki upp.

Að vissu marki er hægt að flokka Golden Compass sem Steampunk en þrátt fyrir að ég sé aðdáandi myndarinnar, þá er langt frá því að hún sé allra

Sillof’s Workshop er bara snilld. Það er mikið meira en bara Steampunk Star Wars stöffið þarna en það er allt þess virði að fara í gegnum þessa snilld.
