Corridors make science-fiction believable, because they’re so utilitarian by nature – really they’re just a conduit to get from one (often overblown) set to another. So if any thought or love is put into one, if the production designer is smart enough to realise that corridors are the foundation on which larger sets are ‘sold’ to viewers, movie magic is close at hand.

This music video was shot for Sour’s ‘Hibi no Neiro’ (Tone of everyday) from their first mini album ‘Water Flavor EP’. The cast were selected from the actual Sour fan base, from many countries around the world. Each person and scene was filmed purely via webcam.

Oceansize is a short 3D sci-fi/horror movie made by 4 students of Supinfocom Arles in 2008, Romain Jouandeau, Adrien Chartie, Gilles Mazières and Fabien Thareau. The movie is set on an oil rig in the future and tells the story of a catastrophic destruction of the rig by a giant sea monster.

How long did it take to produce the entire project?
It was planned and pre-produced in about 4 weeks. The actual shoot was one long 16 hour day. we were shooting off single takes at one time and moving on because one day is all I had. The post on it was over the course of 2 years on and off.
