How Hollywood could kill movie piracy
It’s just crazy enough it might work!

Villa Escudero is located in Quezon Province, Philippines, offering a vast hacienda filled with comfortable rooms, and a museum of curious things. Perhaps the most curious thing at the villa is the amazing Waterfalls Restaurant, where lunch is served against an impressive backdrop of thundering clear spring water. Grass fringed buffet stations and bamboo dining tables stand steadily in just inches of flowing river water from the sparkling falls, as it washes around the feet of diners enjoying delicious local dishes.

I made this image today and shared it on various places on the interwebs. Basically it asks the question “If you take the money icelandic musicians make off the books (don’t pay any taxes of their income) and deduct the “loss” of income due to copyright infringement. What would the net outcome be? Would they come out ahead or at a loss?”
What is interesting is that many “Liked” it or shared it. I got private feedback about the question in email and phone call form but not one musician has commented on it in any fashion.
